Shoebox/Containers for the Unhoused
We are excited to add an outreach to the unhoused within the commuity. UCN is gathering shoebox or plastic containers/bags filled with basic personal needs .
Think of touques, gloves, sox, wipes, disposable razors, kleenex, snack bars, bandaid, new underwear.....
The deadline has been extended and you can still bring them to UCN until Dec. 21.
Thanks every one...

Winter Clothes For Students
Thanks to all who contributed warm clothing for Brock students unprepared for our winters. An especial thanks to Bill and Carol who dropped off a very large bag of clothing. All the items have now been picked up for distribution.

Unitarian MidWinter Retreat
February 6 - 8, 2026
The theme this year is “We Are All Interconnected,” and we are delighted to announce that Rev. Wayne Walder will be our keynote speaker. Rev. Wayne was the minister at the Neighbourhood UU Congregation for over two decades. The weekend will follow the usual Midwinter format - the keynote presentation, choice of workshops, outdoor programs led by Cedar Glen staff, a Saturday night cabaret, games and euchre, and a Sunday service. We will also have an Art Show, organized by Lauren Renzetti – please let us know if you would like to sell your work at this show (e.g. arts/crafts/books, etc.). Lauren has also designed a t-shirt which can be purchased in advance. Details for both are on the website.
ALL Ontario Unitarians are most welcome at Midwinter – as well as any others who are interested, and people from outside Ontario if they wish to make the trip. Meeting people from other UU congregations is one of the great benefits of this event, and for some of us it is an opportunity to see Unicamp friends during the winter.
Registration is now open.
